Hosted by Camp Grace in Roberta, Georgia (which is under the umbrella of the nonprofit Vision Atlanta Inc.) & the Georgia Department of Natural Resources - Wildlife Resources Division.Family Fun Day & Fishing Jamboree will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Middle Georgia's rural community of Crawford County. Camp Grace is a beautiful 455-acre camping facility with three lakes that is located in Crawford County, Georgia (in the City of Roberta) and will be the chosen site for the event. It is 30 minutes from Macon and 90 minutes from Atlanta.

Family Fun Day & Fishing Jamboree!

This action-packed, fun-filled, day-long event will be the BIGGEST outdoor recreation event of this kind to take place in Middle Georgia! It will be free to attendees and open to the entire public.Bring a blanket or portable chair to sit on and your sunglasses, and come prepared to enjoy a day like no other.While we expect more than 500 children, parents, grandparents, and/or legal guardians on the day of the event, only the first 200 children (between the ages of 5 -to- 18 years old) to arrive will receive a FREE rod & reel combo in exchange for two canned food items each child brings.

Activities for the day include FREE fishing for kids 5 to 18 years of ageSwimming in the resort-sized pool at Camp Grace (bring your swimsuit, flip flops & towel)ZipliningWall climbingPetting ZooBounce houses (for younger children)and more!* (Each parent/adult must stay onsite and be responsible for their own child(ren).FREE food & beverages for the day will be provided by Camp Grace and corporate sponsors.Most importantly, there will be a FREE Raffle Prize Giveaway for a chance to win several items - including two FREE Youth-sized ATV/4-Wheelers for two lucky kids!

Residents of Crawford County can also receive the following on-site healthcare services for those (of all ages) who might be interested: breast cancer education & screenings via a mobile mammogram vehicle; hypertension/diabetes education & screenings; vision testing; healthy nutrition education; prostate cancer education; and basic dental services.

Important Things to Know & Remember: EACH and EVERY child must be accompanied by at least one parent or adult legal guardian who will be fully responsible for them throughout their entire time at Camp Grace - Family Fun Day & Fishing Jamboree for the day. Meaning, you can NOT drop your child(ren) off and come back. You must remain with them at the campgrounds however long they/you desire to stay.** SAFETY IS KEY!
